Neem, Nimtree or Indian lilac (Azadirachta indica, Meliaceae)








Neem is a fast-growing tree (15–20 metres). The Flowers are white and fragrant, arranged drooping axillary panicles (~25 centimetres) long. The inflorescences bear from 250 to 300 flowers. An individual flower is 5–6 millimetres long and 8–11 millimetres wide. Protandrous, bisexual flowers.
